Confirmation Popup
-
Hello!
Is there a way for my popup subscriber form to show a confirmation popup once the user has submitted their form?
Thank you!
Kelsey

Hey Kelsey,
Hope you’re well π
I’m not sure I understand this completely so could you please elaborate it a bit more.
Are you looking to have two popups, one for subscription form and then another one that would open after the form has been submitted? Please advise π
Cheers,
PredragThank you for trying WordPress PopUp. I am going to mark this topic resolved because we havenβt heard from you in a while. If you’re still looking for an answer to your question we can reopen the ticket. Thanks again!

KelseyHi Kelsey,
The thread was closed because there was no answer to my above comment, can you please give me more info about the desired setup, based on my questions above and I’ll look into this for you.
Thanks,
PredragYes, I replied with the message below:
Hi Predrag!
Thank you for the quick response! I am basically wondering if we can add
some sort of confirmation message once my popup form has been submitted.
Ideally it would be in the same popup. I can try to find an example on
another site, but let me know If this clears up my question for you.Thank you!
KelseyHi Kelsey,
Huh, I’m not sure what happened before but I don’t see such message in this thread.
But I do see it now so back to your question π
To summarize your setup, you have Subscription form added to popup, when visitor goes to site the popup opens and user can fill in the form.
However the popup closes up as soon as the form is submitted and you want it to show confirmation message before closing.
Am I on a right path now?If so can you tell me which subscription plugin you’re using so I could do some test on my end?
Cheers,
PredragHi Predrag,
Yes, that is correct. I am using Gravity Forms and Zapier to collect the subscriptions. Does that answer your questions?
Thanks!
KelseyHi Kelsey,
Thanks for the additional info, I was doing some test of this on my site and I was able to get it working by selecting “Refresh popup or do nothing” option inside popup and using Gravity forms AJAX shortcode like this:
[gravityform id="1" title="true" description="true" ajax="true"]
After that when I submitted my email the popup didn’t close and confirmation message loaded up.
Cheers,
PredragHi Predrag,
Thank you so much! Where exactly do I add that shortcode?
Thanks!
KelseyHi Kelsey,
Apologies for the delay here.
That would be shortcode of your gravity form and it should be added inside popup content.
Note that your form ID might be different from the above one so make sure to check that and use correct ID of your form.Cheers,
PredragHi Predrag,
Thank you for clarifying! I have made those changes and now the pop-up preview won’t work at all. It only works if I disable AJAX. Any idea why that would happen?
Thanks again!
KelseyHi Kelsey,
Have you tried checking the popup on front end and not just in the preview, there’s a possibility that Gravity Forms scripts are not being loaded in backend and that could cause popup not to show?
Cheers,
PredragHi Predrag,
I have tried the popup while activated as well. The screen darkens but no pop-up shows up. Not sure why… Is there anything I need to do in Gravity Forms? Or any other ideas?
Thanks!
KelseyHi Kelsey,
Not that I know of, with the setup I explained above it worked out of the box for me…
Can you give me URL to your site so I could see if there are any errors in console that could be causing this?
Cheers,
Predrag
