Confirmation page not loading

When I make a purchase with the stripe plug in, it thinks for a second then comes back with a “Sorry, trouble retrieving receipt”. Once refresh it pops up.

I read that this can be a delay in processing issue, but it feels like it happens 60% of the time. Do you know what I can do to fix this?

Do you have any caching plugins active?

Are you purchasing as a guest or while logged into an account?

Yes, we are using W3 Total Cache. I tried to set up so those pages do not cache, but not sure if that is helping.

I am purchasing as guest using the Stripe js.

Your version of EDD is quite a bit out of date. Could you update to the latest version and let me know if that resolves the issue?

I updated to the newest version 2.3.5.

I also checked no caching on checkout.

It seems to pull up after about 5-15 sec and a refresh.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by 5-15 seconds and a refresh.

Does it hang after you click “Purchase” or does it successfully redirect to the purchase confirmation page after 15 seconds?
