Confirmation of user e-mail

    Dear developers,

    I wonder if there is any way where a none-account member, who wants to register for an event, to ask him to confirm his email address that he filled in. And only after he confirmed his email address via the link in the mail, the procedure for the event will follows.

    Is there something like that in the system already for the free version or the pro version of the events manager?

    Hiya,

    Do you mean when booking events?

    You can require confirmation of new user accounts using something like http://wordpress.org/plugins/confirm-user-registration/

    You could then have EM set all new bookings to pending as default and either manually set to confirmed upon user confirmation, or find a hook that will do it automatically. Note that the latter would require custom coding.
