Support » Plugin: Email Subscribers & Newsletters » Confirmation email contains a URL but it is not a link.

  • The email confirmation sent when the user fills in the subscription form, contains text asking them to click a link to confirm, but the URL that appears below that line is not a link. Some email programs will render it as such, but some will not.

Please send a proper HTML email with an actual link in it.

    Hi,

You can change the Confirmation text from settings panel and you can add the HTML as well.

    So, you can add <a href="{{SUBSCRIBE-LINK}}">Click Here</a>

    Hope that helps.

Well, yes, one could do that, but why does every user of this plugin have to notice for themselves that this is necessary — their testing in their email might not show a problem — and then fix it for themselves, as opposed to you fixing it by adding a string that really means “the link” rather then “the url” and using that in your default email?
