 * I wanted to reach out and confirm that this plugin will allow a website the search
bar for the website allow searches a key word or topic, it wont’t only just search
the websites on page content but also index the pdfs links and the content in
them to allow someone to search and be pointed to that pdf? This is how it is
shown to work using the Pro Version of the plugin.

 * Yes, the free version of Relevanssi can index PDF (and other attachment) metadata(
titles, descriptions) and Premium can also index the attachment contents.

 * Thank you for taking the time to get back to me but I wanted to confirm, does
that mean if I use the search functionality on a website it would bring up that
post with that link because the items in that link contain the index content
   that I was searching for?

 * If you have a PDF attachment in your Media Library, Relevanssi Premium can index
the PDF contents. When you search, you’ll get, depending on your settings, the
attachment post (as a link to the attachment page or directly to the PDF) or
the parent post to which the PDF is attached.
 * If you just have a link to a file in the post, Relevanssi doesn’t do anything
about that. With some additional code, it’s possible to get Relevanssi to index
the contents of the linked attachment to the post where the link is, but it requires
   some custom code.
 * If the link points to a PDF that outside your WordPress installation, reading
those files is also possible, but will require even more custom code.
