I am trying to set up an booking calendar for a non-profit organization. Is it possible for the service provider to approve/confirm an appointment request from a link in the request email?

The service provider has no access to the admin area to approve or reject; that is why I wonder whether it is possible with this plugin.

    Thanks

    Hello @suncat18

    Hope you’re well!

I am amfraid approving appointments via email is out of teh box. In Appointments > Settings > General > Accessibility set “Allow service provider confirm own appointments” to Yes.

This way the Service Provider can visit their profile page, http://yoursite.com/wp-admin/profile.php and confirm assigned appointments.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

Thanks Nastia for responding. So if I set that field to “yes” then I have to give admin access to the Service Provider right.

    Hey @suncat18,

    Hope you’re well.

You don’t need to give service providers admin role, they can be even Subscriber but they need to go profile page at WordPress backend (/wp-admin/profile.php), no way to add this to front side out of the box.

    Cheers,
