Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » Configuring CDN with S3 and CF – origin issues

  • I am trying to setup the CDN on the w3tc plugin and I can’t figure out how to change the Origin under configuration. It only shows the origin as the domain of my staging server, which is not what I named the s3 bucket or CF distribution. We have a lot of s3 buckets and CFs so I dont want to choose the name so it is easily identifiable.

I am using Cloudfront Pull/Mirror as recommended by every article i’ve found and the plugin itself. How can I change the origin manually? Not sure what other information you’d need so please let me know if other info would be helpful. Thanks!

    Update:

I tried to do this on the live server which has a matching origin. On the staging side the origin is showing up as staging.domain.com. The bucket is called domain.com so on the live server the origin is showing up properly as domain.com. This matches the s3 bucket.

However, when I test the CF distribution i get

Error: Distribution for origin “domain.com” not found.

I can verify that the names are identical in S3 as they are here, the CF is enabled and deployed, and I believe the application has all appropriate IAM permissions.
