 * Hello,
    I am new to WordPress & installed it on my localpc and it is running
   fine. I tried to install it on the dev/test server and everything loads fine
   when I remote in, but when I connect through network(my local pc) I get errors.
   the stylesheets & js files are not being loaded. It looks like when I view source
   all the css and javascript are looking at localhost.
 * Can someone help me?
    Many thanks in advance
 * –Roham

 * This is probably what you want to take a look at:
    [https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress](https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress)
 * As you will see, it is more than just copying the files and database.

 * The article does not explain why the rendition of the pages are pointing at localhost.
   Here is what I see after viewing the source is showing
 * <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”SHRA » Feed” href=”[http://localhost:83/feed/&#8221](http://localhost:83/feed/&#8221);/
   >
    <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”SHRA » Comments Feed”
   href=”[http://localhost:83/comments/feed/&#8221](http://localhost:83/comments/feed/&#8221);/
   >
 * instead of
 * <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”SHRA » Feed” href=”../
   feed/” />
    <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”SHRA » Comments
   Feed” href=”../comments/feed/” />
 * or
 * <link rel=”alternate” type=”application/rss+xml” title=”SHRA » Feed” href=”[http://wp-server/feed/&#8221](http://wp-server/feed/&#8221);/

 * “When your domain name or URLs change there are additional concerns. The files
   and database can be moved, however references to the old domain name or location
   will remain in the database, and that can cause issues with links or theme display.”
   at this bookmark: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs](https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs)
   where it explains what to do about it.
 * I am assuming that your original install had Site URL set to localhost.
