Hi, if you are using the shortcode to show the comments, then you won’t see the configuration options, you use shortcode parameters instead. You can see examples and details on which parameters are supported on the documentation page https://docs.itthinx.com/document/decent-comments/shortcodes/
It would be useful if the plugin offered a block, if someone would like to add that, the repository is https://github.com/itthinx/decent-comments
Anyhow, I hope the indications for parameters are helpful.
Thank you and I’ve seen the shortcodes documentation but I didn’t see any other option apart from the shortcodes – the Plugin options have just one setting which is box you can tick to “delete settings when the plugin is deactivated” – can you please let me know how I would get the config options to show? Thnx
The plugin only has the single configuration option to delete data, the screenshot you might refer to would be from the legacy widget.

Hi, Decent Comments works really well but the config options as shown in your screenshot aren’t there for us. I just realized now as I want to do something more complex. We have the some shortcodes in the widget and that’s it – nothing like the screenshot with all the settings. We are, however, using classic widget plugin at the mo – would that be why? Appreciate any help.
