  • I am trying to activate this plugin having downloaded, unzipped and installed the php file in the wordpress plugin folder on my host server. When I click activate, the following message appears :

Warning: main(/home/sites/jollygoodfun.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/configurable-tag-cloud-widget/base.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/sites/jollygoodfun.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/tag_cloud.php on line 16

Can anyone tell me ( in laymans terms ) what this means and what I need to do to fix the problem. I am not an engineer so please help me by keeping it simple. Thanks a lot.

  • /home/sites/jollygoodfun.co.uk/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/tag_cloud.php

That file tag_cloud.php, should be in the wp-content/plugins/configurable-tag-cloud-widget folder not wp-content/plugins

Ok, I created a new folder in wp-content/plugins/ folder on my host server then uploaded all of the files including tag_cloud.php from the unzipped download folder, into it. I then went to the dashboard area and activated the plugin and IT WORKS…am now all singing and dancing. Thank you for helping me out. Very much appreciated.
