  • Hi,

you can try something like [events_list limit=”10″ scope=”2010-12-25,2010-12-31″]

    try [events_list limit=”10″ country=”US”]

    Thank you VERY much.

This is such a complex (but powerful) plugin that I missed that part of the documentation.

I made it work now thanks to you 🙂

    thanks for updating.

I spoke too soon. I have a problem with country filtering.

I have various locations that has ‘Netherlands’ or ‘United Kingdom’ in the country field of their address. When I use a country code list as below I see not only the locations in UK (that has events in the date range) but also in Netherlands.

    [events_list scope="2013-03-01,2013-04-30" country="GB,IE"]
    code here

If I change the filter to just read country=”GB” then locations in Netherlands are not displayed. Only the events in UK are displayed. Similarly, country=”NL” only displays events in Netherlands as expected.

If I change the filter to say country=”GB,US” still it shows events from Netherlands. It seems when there is a list of countries, whatever the second country is, Netherlands locations are displayed.

Can you shed light on this?

    Many thanks in advance.

this isn’t a bug, we just haven’t implemented searching multiple countries yet

So, placing a list of countries basically creates a code typo?

I hope you will implement this soon. It is very useful when you need to group locations like I’m trying to do on this page.

While on the subject of Country Codes, I have noticed that you have listed Scotland and Wales as individual countries but neither Scotland nor Wales have codes in countrycode.org. Where do you get the codes for Scotland and Wales?

I made a special exception in those cases, if I rember correctly a ‘country’ with its own football team got a free pass 🙂 I made the codes up though since there aren’t any

    LOL and why not?

I wish UN would be so logical and pragmatic 🙂

hmm… the UN may end up with a hooligan problem 🙂
