We’re using WooCommerce a rather unique way — and while it works great — we’re running into one issue with expansion.

We don’t run a front end store, we use a plugin to hide the store from being publicly viewable and when people place orders with us (Usually via Fax or Phone) we just “Add Order” and create the order manually, which, then gets sent to them via email and they pay for it on the /order-pay/ page.

The reason why we do this is because our items are vastly different in size and often need special freight quotes – so – there’s no easy way to automate shipping. We call around to find the lowest price possible.

I’d like to open up the store to logged in customers (which is how I have it configured now) but I still need it so customers are only submitting order requests rather than actually paying for the orders.

Right now I use the Stripe or Check Gateway that they can select when they pay, however, I’d like to enable a third gateway like this for this use.

Is there any way that I could hide the Check/Stripe gateways when users are placing orders on the front end — however — on the flip side hide the invoice gateway when users are paying on /order-pay/ from admin generated invoices?

That way people can put together their orders automatically, we get notified (perhaps “On Hold”) and then we quote the shipping and send them a finalized invoice to pay at the /order-pay/ end point.

Has anyone ran into this type of issue before or have any ideas how we could achieve it?

    Thank you so much!
