    Hi,

I’m currently using WordPress Events Manager with a custom booking form. In the Forms editor, I’ve entered all the fields I would like to ask my participants. However, I want to also ask for specific items based on their answers in previous questions. For example, when someone enters that they would like to be billed on their company address, then I would like to require a Tax ID – but if it is to be billed personally, then I would not require their Tax ID.

Unfortunately, when I search for conditional fields in the booking form, I get a lot of hits for conditional placeholders. Unfortunately, placeholders are only used for event attributes (for example: if an event has a specific location, then you could choose to show specific information. However, I would like to show a new question based on the answer of a previous one).

Is such a thing possible? If yes, how would I do this? Do I need to use a different plug in for this?

    Kind regards,
    Tadsz

  • Hi,

Because there’s no built-in support for conditional form fields the only option would be custom coding and / or to use an additional plugin.

Thank you for your response! I’ve found plugins that will allow me to build the form I need, but do you think it’s possible to use these forms with the Events Manager bookings?

In theory, it should be possible. But again, it would take some custom coding.
