Condition on a form does not work if there are multiple forms in tabs

I have tabs (wpbakery editor) setup with a different form in each tab. In one form I have a condition set in place so that it displays all the fields only if it matches a specific user_email in a hidden field. This works fine if the form is in a page of its own, but when this form is in a tab with other forms, the condition doesn’t work and even if the condition is matched, it will not display the fields that are triggered by the condition. Does anyone know of a way to make this work?
