# Concurrent Connections

 * Hi all
 * I’m at a loose end here. My site goes up and down in response time between 1-
   2 seconds to 30+ and even timing out.
 * My site here[ thepainbarrier.co.uk](http://thepainbarrier.co.uk) is hosted on
   Godaddy.
 * I’ve called godaddy a couple of times and both times they have said there has
   been some ‘maintenance’ going on at their end and to wait a couple of hours.
 * The last time I called the GD agent said that my site has concurrent connections
   of 200+. This is unexpected I would imagine 10-20 at one time and max 100 per
   hour.
 * The GD agent said that it may be a problem with my sites scripting and ‘the connections
   are not dropping off as people leave’.
 * I have not altered my theme so can’t believe this to be true, but also I can’t
   find much on the web. Does anyone have any insight into this potential problem
   at ‘my end’ and what might be causing the issue?
 * PS. I’ve done the usual deactivate plugins, reactive one at a time and can’t 
   pinpoint any conflict.
