All is well, and I have these two questions after having just reviewed and updated my Custom Code…

    1. Do you no longer suggest the XML-RPC DDoS Protection or did I just miss seeing it somewhere?

    2. Do you no longer suggest certain files permissions as in the past?

No complaint here, I just want to be sure to keep up with whatever you believe best!

Many thanks for a great plugin.

    1. I’m going to take a guess about what the root question is. I assume you saw the 3 new Bonus Custom Code links displayed in the latest version of BPS, but did not see the older XML-RPC Bonus Custom code link. The answer would be that you have already dismissed that notice in the past. If you want to reset and display all Dismiss Notices again then go to the BPS Security Status page and click the Reset|Recheck Dismiss Notices button.

    2. Things were moved around in a previous version of BPS to more logical locations and additional things were added like UID checks for more precise troubleshooting. File and Folder permissions and UID checks and the Read Me help info is now on the System Info page.

Oops! But, at least I do have the defense of having only one eye that can read…

    Many thanks for the update!
