    Hi

first of all, I really like the flexibility PostX offers. It is so far, the best solution for my use case. However, I have some questions on how you will address my performance concerns.

    • Javascript loaded on all pages (also without PostX blocks): “ultp.min.js”
    • Styles loaded on all pages (also without PostX blocks): “ultimate-post/assets/css/style.min.css“
    • Overall pagespeed impact on PostX pages. Eg. Google PageSpeed Insights complains about the images, lower score, etc.

    Hope you can clarify!

    Thank you

    Hi @krikke ,

Thank you for reaching us. I have sent the JavaScript & Style issue on all pages to our development team and they will have a look into this matter.

Can you provide me with some detailed information regarding images, and other lower scores you are facing?

    Hi @azimkhan123 ,

Thank you for the prompt action & response!

I’ll gladly give you some indication to the pagespeed impact. Here are 2 (before/after) screenshots of a page on which I have PostX enabled & disabled. That is the only change.

    PostX pagespeed impact

To give you an Idea of the complexity of this postgrid: it is just 4 images, text, filter.

    Hi @krikke ,

If you go to Block setting > Image > there is an option to enable srcset. Did you enable that option? That should give you better result.

    Let me know.

Thank you for the feedback @azimkhan123 !

I tried enabling srcset (it was not enabled previously), it might have reduced some warnings/tips, but does not (significantly) improve the pagespeed. I’m still around 78-79. It is still enabled now on https://dev.fusico.digital/blog/ so you can see for yourself.

    Hi @krikke ,

We just released to solve your javascript and CSS file loading issue. If you don’t use widget in any of your page/post then it wont show our file like earlier.

We will optimize our code soon to give our user a better experience in mobile too.

Thanks for the quick action & update @azimkhan123 , appreciated!

Just to check, has the css/js update been pushed yet? Updated base & pro, I’m on V2.8.9 and V1.4.8 respectively. But I still see the css/js on non-postx pages.

    style.min.css?ver=2.8.9 & ultp.min.js?ver=2.8.9

    Example on https://dev.ysquared.consulting

    Thank you!

    Hi @krikke ,
