Hi there, I uploaded Imsanity to reduce the load time of my website, and while it did just that (thank you), all my images look like instagram now. My website is http://www.wisdom-ink.com

I don’t know if you can help me to undo some of the images I have used imsanity on (I have over 500 on my website). And on top of that, every time I go to my website there is a ‘hipsterizing’ word on top of my compressed images that weren’t there before that I would like to remove.

I deactivated imsanity to try to re-upload some of the main images so that my website wouldn’t be compromised on quality, but as soon as I upload them they immediately compress even though imsanity is deactivated.

I would really appreciate any support~ I am not a techy person at all. I backed up my website over a year ago, but all the images I compressed were uploaded in the last year, so that isn’t an option.

Do let me know if you can help~ I would very much appreciate it.

  • Hey Janalmoreno, that isn’t Imsanity doing that to your images. I would guess that it’s another plugin – or possibly a part of the theme that you are using. So I would look into your theme options or check for other plugins.

All Imsanity does is resize images to make them smaller. It doesn’t add any effects.

Thanks! I am checking it out now~ will let you know what I find out. My theme is Cloriato Lite. Will keep you posted!

My friend figured it out~ you were right. It had nothing to do with Imsanity and everything to do with one of the apps on Cloudflare. I had installed an app on cloudflare called instaflare that I guess wasn’t compatible with my widgets. After uninstalling and waiting a few minutes, my website went back to normal =) Thanks for your help and imsanity really did help speed up my site. Thank you!!
