Compound Taxes not adding up

    Hi Mike,

I’m having a little trouble configuring compound taxes.

For sales in CA, I charge 7.25% sales tax
However, if the sales are within certain zip codes, I need to charge an additional 1.125% tax (8.375% total).

I’ve read the documentation and tried various permutations, but seem to only be able to get the 7.25% rate to work. For example, the 95133 postal code is specified and should be taxed at both the State tax and local tax, but I am only getting the state tax rate.

Can you tell me if I’ve set this up wrong? Here’s a screenshot image: http://imm.io/Lxbz

    Thanks,

    Janet

Pretty sure the zips are 1 per line or ; separated. They are in the latest build. Check by hovering over the [?] – it should tell you the correct format to use.

    Wow – fail. Thanks MikeJolley!

An integration with TaxCloud would be great here. If/when I grow to a larger transaction volume, definitely something I’d need.

    Thanks again!
