# Component question

 * Hi there,
 * I’m **very** new to this plugin and wanted to ask:
 * In the Slow Queries table, if a “Core” component is listed, does that mean it’s
   an issue with the WordPress install itself?
 * I’ve deactivated all plugins, minus Query Monitor and switched my theme to Twenty
   Nineteen and this is what I see when I click Slow queries:

 * Edit: sorry forgot to mention that I’m using Query Monitor because the site runs
   slowly and the hosting told me something keeps sending a ton of queries that’s
   exceeding memory limit..etc

 * Thanks for the message.
 * QM will show you a “Slow queries” alert for any queries that take longer than
   0.05 seconds, so those queries are _only just_ over that.
 * I would say that your server is probably a little underpowered, or it’s being
   overloaded by the amount of traffic that it’s serving. You might want to speak
   to your web host about upgrading.

 * Thanks so much for the quick reply! If we have further issues, I’ll make sure
   to bring it up my host again 🙂
 * On the upside, QM did a great job helping me find a few plugins in the site that
   seemed to be effecting the loading time, so I’ve replaced them with a few less‘
   heavy’ plugins (e.g. removed WPML, now using Polylang..etc)
