Complicated installation procedure

    I should have known as soon as I saw the easy and fast installation speak that it was going to be the most complicated thing I have ever attempted in setting up anything in computers. The instructions are obviously not complete and accurate as I followed them as far as they made any sense at all and ended up with nothing, absolutely nothing in accessing install.php.
    Is there anybody out there who can tell somebody that has never seen WordPress before, how to install this?

    The instructions are complete and as accurate as they can be given that the folder architecture differs from server to server. What exactly did you do and what did you have a problem with?
