Complicado pagar por algo que você não possa testar
-
Não tem nenhuma sreenshot de como o calendário vai ficar, nenhum demo… nada… é complicado pagar por um plugin que você nem sabe se vai funcionar ou como vai ficar…
-
Translation: There is no screenshot of how the calendar will look, no demo… nothing… it’s complicated to pay for a plugin that you don’t even know if it will work or how it will look…
Response: This review seems to be related to the Pro version, not the free version, and is entirely inaccurate as there are extensive demo options for both the free and Pro versions on our website: https://icscalendar.com
Please do not leave negative reviews for things that should be addressed in the support forum, as it permanently lowers our plugin’s rating.
Response: This review seems to be related to the Pro version
Moderator response: So what? Why do you think that matters? You use your plugin’s dashboard to promote the “Pro” version.
You cannot do that, reap the sales and then complain that someone reviewed that experience.
You cannot and must not support customers on this site. If you do, your plugin may be closed here.
@nancybnu For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.
As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.
@jdembowski To be clear, I have no issue with legitimate criticism of the plugin, regardless of whether it is the free or pro version, and I work extremely hard to resolve issues for everyone who uses ICS Calendar, whether they are paying customers or not.
I do however take issue with a person leaving two negative reviews in quick succession, especially when one of them contains only an entirely inaccurate description of the experience of my website. As I noted in my initial response, the website offers both live demos of sample calendars and a tool for users to preview their own calendar. Again, for users of either the free or pro version.
I absolutely understand that these forums are for the free plugins only, and I do my best to honor those rules.

Great!

There is a “Other” option which reveals a text field. You selected “Guideline violation” when you reported this review and there is not guideline violation here. Next time use “Other” and the text field to explain there is second review from the same person for the same plugin. That other review has been archived.
