Support » Plugin: Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent » Complianz Duplicates Ultimate Addons for Elementor`s Submenu-Icon

Im Using “Elementor” and “Ultimate Addons for Elementor” Plugins.
Both Plugins are integrated in Complianz.

When im Dismissing or not Pressing anything on the Cookie Notice the “Simple Menu”, “Advanced Menu” und “Nav Menu” – Widgets are working like they are intended with only 1 Submenu-Icon.
But the moment im accepting the Cookie Notice, the Submenu-Icon is getting Duplicated (now 2). As long as the Cookie is still in saved in Browser there are 2 Submenu-Icons on reload.

I know its possible to use display: none on one of the Submenu-Icons or Javascript to remove one.
Is there a way to stop the Duplicate from happening in the first place.

    Hi @ydragon,

Could you see if disabling the Elementor integration, under Complianz – Integrations helps?

    Hello,

Disabling Elementor integration in Complianz doesnt help,
but disabling “Ultimate Addons for Elementor” integration does help.

Is there another way than disabling the integration?

    Hi @ydragon,

The Ultimate Addons integration currently uses the frontend init method, which is not the best as it has some unwanted side effects. However, in this case, using the runReadyTrigger doesn’t work as Ultimate Addons adds their own hook which isn’t fired with runReadyTrigger (and Google Maps cannot be initialized as a result).

So, for the moment the UAFE integration can’t really be adapted to fix this. We are continually in contact with Elementor to improve upon this, but for now, there isn’t really a perfect solution.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno
