    The site is for a foundation that has:
    1. stuff of volunteers;
    2. partners / sponsors;
    3. projects and actions that involve both staff and partners.

    I need separate templates for displaying single posts under the category “staff”. This — I think — is not possible from within Royal Addons but it can still be achieved using “classic” Elementor Template for single posts belonging to a given category.

    The thing is that below the staff member profile I need to display a grid of posts falling into “projects and action” category in which a given staff member was involved. The same goes for partners and sponsors. I can’t find the way to dynamically load filtering criteria for posts categorised as “projects and actions” while also categorised (tagged, whatever) with currently displayed specific staff member.

    Does anyone know the way?

  • Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin. Unfortunately, this is not possible with Royal Elementor Addons.

    Have a good day!

    Hi again, I am not 100% sure but I think I found one way to achieve this, I am out of the office now and when I will get back I will test my idea, if it will work I will guide you on how to achieve this.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick

    Thanks very much. I’m sure this could be done — sites often show things like related items based on some dynamically loaded taxonomy values of currently displayed things (be it custom fields or just regular tags and categories).

    My guess would be to use code snippets defining custom query and the use the query’s id in elementor or royal elementor widgets.

    Please check the video I have recorded for you:

    You need to create an author template that will display posts from the current author(it will display current members’ posts in your case). Add Some Authors (members) to the desired post and I think you will achieve the results you want.

    Kind Regards,
    Nick
