# Completely uninstall

 * Hello,
    I would like to completely uninstall the plugin because it causes too
   many problems and conflicts. I saw that it created tables in the database. How
   can I do !ANYTHING! erase clean? Many thanks for your help.

 * To completely uninstall the plugin and delete those database tables, it would
   be necessary to manually DROP them from the database. All MailPoet tables will
   start with `*_mailpoet_` where * is your site’s database prefix.
 * There are plans to add an automated way of doing this to the plugin, however 
   at the moment it will be necessary to manually delete the tables.
 * As always when making changes to the site, I’d recommend making sure you have
   a complete backup of the site before starting with that.
