Support » Plugin: Advanced Access Manager » Completely uninstall

I deleted my Super Admin user because this user was under constant attack. I assigned a new user the Super Admin role in WP with User Access Manager but when I login the AAM tab is missing. I now realize that I should have changed the user in AAM config but what is done is done.

I have tried resetting the wp_user_roles setting in phpmyadmin as you had suggested in another ticket however wp is now loading with that option.

I would like to completely uninstall AAM and clear its data from the DB. And then reinstall it and set the new super admin. Simply deleting the plugin doesn’t flush the DB so reinstalling just activates the plugin with the same issue. I can’t find instructions on how to do this. Please advise.

Or how can I update the super admin in phpmyadmin?

    Hi @cfatiuk,

In the wp_options table you should be able to find option with name “aam-configpress“. It contains your config.

You can either delete it or change.

    Thank you,
    Vasyl
