Completely disable users from registering and commenting on my page

  • Im using this site as a Site to Post news and relevance to my old game clans and my music I produce, since wordpress does not integrate with PHPbbb so all users would have to register twice, I am not fond of this, therefore I wish to disable user activity completely on the wordpress site (hide everything that shows the public that users can access it) however, I still would like an “admin login” button so that I can add a few friends as admin’s for site work and construction. So basically her is the breakdown (summary)

    1. Disable Registration, only I can add accounts
    2. Hide all “no comments” or “comments closed” areas so it is not tacky to viewers

Thank you so much for your input

(did you search for PHPbb integration plugins? Seems like there used to be a few)

    As for your items:

    1. General Settings. Uncheck “Anyone can register” by Membership
    2. Edit your current theme’s template files. Look in index.php, page.php, single.php for starters.

if I goto edit it. what code do I modify? I am semi new to this, and I disabled registration, problem (1) is solved, just need help with number (2) oh and also if I change my go daddy url will that disrupt site files and what not?
