[resolved] Completely disable login (4 posts)

    I installed this plugin on a site and logged in and out no problem. Next day I could not login in at wp-admin at all. Through FTP I deleted the plugin, but still cannot login. I renamed htaccess and still cannot login. Could this be the plugin and if so how can I get back into the dashboard?

    When you go to log in, are you going to /wp-login.php or /wp-admin/?

    Does your .htaccess file contain the following lines?

    # BEGIN OGFF
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^safe\-entrance\.php$ wp-login.php [NC,L]
    RewriteCond %{THE_REQUEST} wp\-login\.php [NC]
    RewriteRule ^wp\-login\.php$ - [F]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI}  ^/$
    RewriteCond %{QUERY_STRING} ^/?author=([0-9]*)
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ - [F]
    </IfModule>
    # END OGFF
