    The plugin completely crashes my website when I install it. I haven’t even activated it, simply installing it crashes my site with a 500 error until I delete the plugin folder manually from my hosting. NOT good.

    I tried to create a local development environment of the site, and installing RD Hover Effects crashed that too. In the development environment it gives this error: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in” and ends in “on line 590”

    I suspect the two could be related. Again, the only way to get rid of it is to manually delete the plugin folder.

    I am also using this plugin on another website where it is currently working – but now worried about updating anything on that site as it could break everything!

    Can you help? Will this be fixed? Neither the live site or dev environment are using uncommon plugins – and the second RD Hover Effects is deleted everything works again!

    Hi,
    May be you did something wrong. There is no reason for this to happen with RD Hover Effects. Can you Put Exactly Right Plugin Folder In wp-content->plugin directory?

    Please check this again. If or install plugin directly with your wordpress admin plugin directory

    click plugins menu->Add New
    Then search the plugin in right side search bar
    RD Hover effects just install it.
    Let me know if your problem is resolved.
