Hello! This could be the result of a couple of things:
First, it sometimes takes some time for Facebook to purge it’s Open Graph cache, so that might be why you’re seeing old data. I’d recommend using their debugger tool, where you’ll be able to manually re-scrape a page:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Second, I see that there is a second set of Open Graph tags being generated on that page. Are you sure every other plugin that might be handling that is disabled?
Thanks!
Alex
Hi Alex – thank you for your reply.
Yes – we are using Facebook Debugger to check the site and unfortunately, it is still showing the old information (offering marketing services). It should only talk about our web offering. We installed and activated Open Graph 5 days ago now.
In regard to a second set of Open Graph tags being generated, I am not sure where this is coming from. We did have Yoast on the site but deactivated this when activating Complete Open Graph. Do I need to delete it completely?
To assist you – here is a list of all the site ACTIVE plugins. I can’t see how these would be the cause. Would there be anywhere else on the site that could be generating a second set of OG? I am pretty sure we only used Yoast before to create them, but could some CSS we added be causing the problem? And if so, where would it be? It’s not within our theme’s CSS section (Avada / Fusion Builder).
Here are the plugins we use. We’d really appreciate your help with this. Thank you.
