So I have the Events Calendar installed along with several of the add-ons registration, tickets, category colors, etc. I also installed the shortcodes and upgraded to shortcode pro. The problem is no matter what I do, I cannot get a calendar to appear. When I am in settings and press the link “Your calendar is here” it gives me a blank page or 404 error. the slugs are events and event – event has a listing of events but it does not include current events only older ones from january and back. The calendar page events shows a 404 error. When I try calling the calendar with [tribe_events view=”month”] the shortcode is shown as text on the page and nothing resolves.

I have reset permalinks about 10 times. I have removed the theme Credence, and used one of the basic WP themes and the errors continued. I have cleared cache so many times I have forgotten passwords. Debugging is off. I have deactivated a half dozen plugins and nothing I do is bringing this back.

I want to delete all of the plugins and reinstall all of them. My fear is that if I delete the events calendar plugin all of the events data will go as well. So I want to backup that data but I’m not sure what table holds it (posts?). Can you provide some insight on this? To put this in context, I have another install of The Events Calendar at saintjosephcathdral.org and everything is working just fine. Go figure.

    Hi,

Thanks for using the Events Calendar.

Here on the WordPress.org forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support for our premium plugins. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our premium forum where we will respond to you within 24 hours during the week:

Having said that, deleting and reinstalling the plugins does not delete any events or event events settings.

It is always a good idea to backup before doing that, but there is nothing in the coding that will go in and delete that data on our end.

    Thanks again!
