Can anyone tell me if this still plugin still works OK with WP 3.9?
There are no votes for the combination yet and the plugin and it's comaptibility info have'nt been updated for almost a year now...
If not, can you point me to an alternative that does?
Since WordPress SEO dropped the same functionality I have this running on multiple sites and I'd like to know wether I can safely update them to WP 3.9

Not working for me on 3.9.1. I disabled all other plugins and reverted to the default theme (twentyfourteen) - still no go. It does turn my category links from .com/category/news/ into .com/news/, but .com/news/page/2/ (clicking page 2 in pagination on News category) produces a 404 not found.

Update: Went back into the Permalinks admin page, clicked Save. Now my custom /%category%/%postname%/ permalink is working with, with no 'category' in the url. Thanks!

Found that WordPress SEO has just reintroduced the 'Strip the category base option! Now I won't need No Category Base anymore...

    WordPress SEO Changelog
    Release Date: May 16th, 2014

Backing out earlier change, as this breaks the snippet preview.

Reintroduced the 'Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL.' option.
