Support » Plugin: Nelio Content - Social Media Marketing Automation » Compatible with theme?

  • Hi,

The plugin is supposed to be compatible with the Newspaper theme but when I installed your plugin, setting are use double quote mode and first image in post. But when i look at the post on the back end, the featured image and url seem good but on the front end, the share icon for Pinterest is where the image is being put. So the small share icon is the image. Single quote and default setting didn’t work also.

  • See what is supposed to be the Pinterest share icon at the end is now the image

Update, ok so it looks like it’s working ok as the image is showing up in other sections but there must be a conflict on the post page where the image gets put on the Pinterest icon. Turning off the share icons in the theme did not help.

    Hi Sam,

Are you sure Nelio Content is the plugin you are having problems with? In your Screenshot I see a floating bar of something like that with social icons and the Pinterest one seems wrong. But Nelio Content does not include any bar like that. Could you please clarify a little bit more the exact problems you have?

Exactly as i explained really. Adding Nelio content takes the featured image and puts it in the Pinterest share icon in the Newspaper theme. If the Pinterest icon is active it replaces it with a tiny featured image and if the Pinterest share is disabled then the featured image is no where to be found.
Inspecting it in Chrome shows this:

    <div class=”td-social-but-icon”><i class=”td-icon-pinterest”></i></div>
    <div class=”td-social-but-text”>Pinterest</div>

Looks like it’s a lost cause really, the Newspaper theme creators are unwilling to make it compatible and i don’t see anyone else who has gotten Nelio to work with this theme so i’ll just have to uninstall it.

That’s great news! I’m happy to know 🙂

Can you share how you solved the issue, in case there’s somebody else facing it too?
