Compatible with Square?

    We are using this plugin on our woocommerce site with Stripe, and are considering switching to Square as our payment gateway (https://woocommerce.com/products/square/). My client is asking me to confirm that the Mailchimp plugin can still send data on sales and products purchased with Square as the gateway. I can’t see why it would work any differently, but she said Square has a competing mail program. Can you confirm this plugin works the same regardless of the payment gateway? Or at least that it won’t work any differently that it does with Stripe?

    Hi @lsterling03, thanks for reaching out. While we haven’t tested the Square payment gateway specifically, I agree that it should not matter. With the way the plugin is engineered, it doesn’t matter which payment provider you use. Please report back if there’s an issue, but you should be fine to use it.
