Support » Plugin: Genesis Layout Extras » Compatible with Dynamik Website Builder?

  • Hello, and thank you for your many creations, and your detailed video for this plugin. Can you add support (CSS) for Dynamik Website Builder? Dynamik’s creator, Eric Hamm, said in the below-quoted support message that custom CSS is required.

I just tested it and though the general options work fine (we’ve used this Plugin with DWB in the past with great results), the new 2.0 “extra layout” options need a bit of Custom CSS to get the widths right. Because DWB does all your width styling for you, depending on the Genesis Layout you’re using, there’s a bit more involved in getting this kind of “extra layout” option working.

In the process, though, I started playing with some Custom Labels, Conditionals and Hook Boxes and came up with some similar layout configurations that I’ll be posting in the near future. If for no other reason than to provide some more examples of Custom Labels in action (i.e.. real world applications).

    Hi there!
    Thanks for your feedback!
Sorry for delay, I was on holiday and did participate in WordCamp Europe in last weeeks.

    Back to your topic:
In general, what Eric said 🙂
The problem is, I cannot add CSS in general for DWB, as I don’t know any changes the user makes with the dynamic CSS options of DWB…

However, can you describe what you want achieve for your site? — Best would be a temporary test account so I could have a look myself. Contact me here:

    Thanks, Dave 🙂

I have the same question. I want to add/change CSS that relates to an installed plug-in. What is the best way to do that within DWB?
