Dear @niikk ,
This plugin works with the taxonomy “product_category” and also the user roles etc. if Dokan Multivendor uses any of these, consider it compatible else use the help tab to schedule a meeting/demo to check the compatibility before you proceed for the advanced version.
P.S. As you might have checked the compatibility list, so keep the possibility in your mind either it exists or doesn’t. It can be added on request.
Thanks,
Fahad@fahadmahmood Thanks for your feedback.
We would use the plugin to made some custom special splits and not remove all Dokan default order splitting. So I guess the order splitting plugin should starts working after dokan default orders splits. Otherwise we will have a mess I guess.
When I understand it right, then the plugin is currently not compatible with Dokan? But it can be added on request, right?
cheers
Correct, it has not been tested yet, we can’t say its not compatible but it can be tested and in case not compatible, we can make it.
@fahadmahmood sounds good.
We also sell subscriptions. Often customer also buy other product and then the products are also part of the subscription order. This is also a problem. When I understand it right, then we can also split those that we have proper subscription and normal order.
I found that support case here.. its not 100% the same case we have but goes in the same direction: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/is-it-possible-to-split-multi-product-subscriptions/
Subscription will work according to the items inside an order and when order gets split properly, subscription will keep working. But this is an assumption only, till we do not test it. Do you want to test it or have already tested it?
@fahadmahmood I would love to test it. But need more time to setup all the stuff. I will let you know if I need support for setup the plugin in the right way. π
Sure
@fahadmahmood I made a quick test in “Exclusive” mode and define a product where this is in the order split them in a new one. Then I added this product and other products to the cart and order them. But there was no order splitt performed by the plugin. Only the Dokan default sub-orders are created.
There is a split lock option, and auto split checkboxes are also there.
@fahadmahmood Ah yes. That was the issue. I now try to split them manually and the loading spinner is loading since 5mins.So I guess there is a problem with the Dokan sub-order (child order) structure.
Good catch. So we are clear that it requires some work regarding compatibility, I will wait for the custom development request and then will start on it.
@fahadmahmood where can I add this request and is this something we have to pay or is this then part of the subscription?
New feature requests are not included in the subscription, so it will go through the paid development process.
@fahadmahmood thanks. Can you estimate that? We are willing to pay for custom work. But in this case I also see that the plugin will be compatible for dokan in general. This is also something which can be a good selling point for other Dokan customers (and there are a lot). π
Please use the help tab to discuss all this stuff separately, these support forums are for bug reports and basic version features queries. Thank you for the understanding.
