Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » Compatibility – WP Super Cache and Apache disk cache

  • What is better or this two can work together – WP Super Cache
    or Apache disk cache

I am in problem too understand this – Are those two complementary or?

I have problems when I have experimented with those – now I don’t have any WP plugin connected to caching and my web site work quite good – there I must underline that I am on Server Housing on my own pc which means I have accesses to all configuration and similar.

Now – beside question are those two complementary or no I need to know am I missing anything – I am aware how apache disk cache works (in general), but how that will influence on W3 total cache – will it make any influence or no and how it will influence my web server PC

When I try using dick cache, mem cache and plugin I get problems when I post something – with dual core CPU rocketing in clouds even 40-60 seconds … which means something don’t work good – Now I am only on dick cache but I want to explore possibility to upgrade more my web site speed.

I hope someone will find time to explain and give answers

I haven’t used apache disk cache but why don’t you jus try out each plugin separately and see what works for you?

??? Apache disk cache is not Plugin for Wp – That is module for Apache web server …

When I start using Wp Super Cache in a wish to test it beside my already set configuration – I get lower page rank on Google page speed – which means that if you are owner of your web server – than plugin for Wp isn’t best choice – simply because you have something – implemented in your native web server …

Apache is handling everything which you host – whatever number plugins, multisites and similar … Spel

Glad you found something that works for you! How does Apache disk cache clear the cache files when you update a post?
