    Apparently not – I installed the update to 4.8 and now all the features from BS TinyMCE widget are gone …

    The latest version of Black Studio TinyMCE Widget is fully compatible with WordPress 4.8. In our tests we have experienced no issues.

    Please note that WordPress 4.8 comes with a new “Text” Widget that includes a minimal visual editor, but that is totally distinct from the “Visual Editor” Widget provided by the plugin, which is far more powerful.

    It works fine now, I was confused by the “normal” (4.8) editor and forgot to look for the “visual editor” widget …
