    Hallo,
I have great compatibility issues with Thrive comments. The support of thrive told me:

    “Hi David,

Thanks for providing us permission to turn off your plugins temporarily.

Upon testing, the issue where the comment form is shown below the entire design occurs when the Antispam Bee plugin is active.

After disabling the plugin, I was able to add the comment section where I intended – https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuAm27e.

However, the plugin still creates a different comment section when activated – https://share.getcloudapp.com/xQuR02be.

Kindly check this with the plugin’s developers. It is supposed to be an antispam plugin, and should not be creating comment sections on its own, which do not conform with the page design.

I hope this helps. Kindly let us know if you have further questions.”

What do you suggest for solving the problem?

    David

    Hi David,

if you could send me a copy of the plugin (you can find my email address here), I would try to find out what the issue is and if we can fix it in Antispam Bee.

    Thanks,
    Florian

    Hi @moench87

this is a typical and very unhelpful advice from them:

It is supposed to be an antispam plugin, and should not be creating comment sections on its own, which do not conform with the page design.

We are not adding any comment sections. We try to modify the WP default comment form and add a honeypot. It looks like things screw up here.

But our plugin is free to use, and they can check what happens here, but we cannot check it with their non-free plugin.

Maybe it is already solved if you check/uncheck the option “Check complete site markup for comment forms”. Maybe it is working with one of them.

If the error persists, maybe Thrive Comments is incompatible with ASB. It looks like they have done some more modifications to the form which could conflict with our modifications. Or they replace the default comment from completely. Then those two plugins will not be compatible, see our FAQ:

    All the best,
