Compatibility with other plugins

    hi, I’m working on a forum with wpForo. I have read that your Ultimate Memeber plugin has the admin option to allow registered users. Let me explain: every registration must be approved by the administrator before entering the forum. Is it correct that the Ultimate Member has this option? If so how do the two plugins work: UM and wpForo?

    Hi @marcomancio

    UM can handle the admin approval on user registration. UM has a content restriction feature in edit pages/post types to apply the settings where only specific roles can access the page or only visible to logged-in or guest users or everyone.

    Hi @marcomancio,

    It is possible to enable admin approval for all newly registered users.
    Please go to the Ultimate member -> User roles -> your user role e.g. Member and enable “Registration Status – Require admin review”.

    Hi @marcomancio

    We haven’t tested the third-party plugin with UM but we’ve already mentioned the possible ways to integrate the two using the UM Content Restriction and UM Role permissions.
