• Hey there,

I got one problem with the JetEngine plugin within the relations functionality, which is based on some mistake within AAM configuration – so I guess.
I built some site where different user roles are defined with the plugin AAM. So the capabilities of e.g. the Editor of some institute called “Lehrstuhl X” is only cabable of editing the posts which are connected with the category “Lehrstuhl X”. With some plugin called “JetEngine” I added some relations functionality to create some connection between different post types. Both plugins combinated worked perfectly fine before and even within the relations only the posts which are connected to the category where shown in the dropdown after filling in some words. But now I also added multilingual functions with the plugin Polylang and therefore needed to adjust the roles also and now I do not get any results when searching for other posts within the relations window – no matter on what post and what relation. But – the function works for the administrator, so I guess it needs to be some user role problem. I know this is quite difficult to solve, because of plugin combination but I hoped that you can maybe have a look on it and tell me whether I am right with that believe or give me some more information what the problem might be as you do have better understanding of the user capabilites implementation and the problem seems to be rooted there?

Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂

    Best regards
    Ronja

  • Hi!

I’m also using jetengine, I wanted to know if it’s totally compatible before you use it.

    Thanks!
