    Hi @ all,

I have perceived, that Photo Gallery seems not to be compatible with CKEditor, which means that the button for inserting a gallery or an album is not displayed in the toolbar.
After deactivation of the CKEditor-PlugIn, the button is displayed in the default editor toolbar.

Are there possibilities to get PhotoGallery running with CKEditor?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hello, @foleysmith!

    Thanks for posting about this!

Unfortunately Phtoo Gallery runs with TinyMCE (default editor) right now. However, you can Generate Shortcode for your gallery and place it on CKEditor content.

This setting is available on Photo Gallery > Generate Shortcode page. Could you please give this a try?

Let us know if this works for you.
    Cheers!

    Hi,

many thanks for your answer. I already have tried the option for generating the shortcode, which is working well. I just hoped, that there would be also this much more comfortable way.

    Hey, @foleysmith!

Are other plugin buttons available on the editor, when you use? The reason I am asking this is that none of the buttons appeared there, only the ones provided by CKEditor.

If possible, please post a screenshot.
    Thank you!
