• I have been using Optimole for more than a month now and I love the service. The only lacking thing so far is that it is not compatible with Cache Enabler plugin. It would be great if both these plugins can be used simultaneously as Cache Enabler reduces TTFB, whereas Optimole improves image loading, and both TTFB and image load times are important factors.

    Hello @ashucg,

I’m happy to hear that you like it. Do you have any details about the incompatibility between those two plugins? I would love to investigate the root cause and make this work.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello @optimole,

The issue is that CE creates static files and return those to visitors but even if Optimole is enabled, those static files do not have CDN image URLs so I can only use of the plugin at a time. I have also created support thread with them but the only reply includes:

I’m unsure how the Optimole plugin works exactly, however, if it updates the image URLs dynamically then it won’t work with the Cache Enabler plugin.

    That’s strange, @ashucg .

It should be working just fine, have you cleared their cache right after you have installed optimole?

Can you get in touch with me on https://optimole.com/#contact to get more details about this and solve it together?

    Thanks!

    Hi @optimole!

Yes, I have already tried that, even deleted the cache directory just to be sure. As soon as I activate cache enabler and it generates cache, CDN links are removed from the webpages (served from cache.)

I’ve also messaged you guys on your website so let me know if you need any information from my end.

    Thanks
