    Hello Jason,
I hope you are having a good recovery. When you come back, I would appreciate your help.

Recently I switched from Google Analytics to Slymstat. But my most visited landing page is not being included in the statistics because of the plugin wp fastest cache. It works after I clean the cache, but after a few hours the problem returns and the same page is not counted again, until I clear the cache again, and so on… Is there something that can be done to make your plugin completely compatible with wp fastest cache?

By the way, I am not completely sure about other pages of my website, but they seem to have the normal amount of traffic they had with GA. Regarding the page I am talking about, I am completely sure about the problem. It should have a lot of visits, and as soon as I clear the cache, I see imediately online users arriving to that page.

I am using a workaround for this issue. I have set a rule in wp fastest cache to clear the cache automatically every few hours. But I would still like a better solution from your side, in order to have two completely compatible plugins.

    Again, have a good recovery!

    Thanks and Regards!

So, just a quick status update.

Emre insists that the issue is NOT related to the PRO version, and he can’t give me a copy of the PRO version to test. He thinks this might be related to the fact that in “Client Mode”, Slimstat does not track bots, and in Preload Cache, WPFC acts as a bot when retrieving the content from the website itself. In short, WPFC pretends to be a browser and takes a snapshot of each page on your website, when Preload Cache is enabled. Now, Slimstat sees that as a bot, and in Client Mode will ignore those page views (and not enqueue the tracker). Early next week I will run some tests on my end and see if this is the case. If that’s true, I will work on my code to see if I can add some kind of exception for WPFC based on its user agent. Would you be available to test this new code, once available, with your PRO version of WPFC?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Jason,

I would 100% be glad to help with my testing, yup. You got it.
It makes TOTAL sense now that you mention it, it does appear as a bot after I took a closer look. Damn. Now it’s so clear haha. Hmm.

So glad you know how to proceed 🙂 You rock. Good luck!

Terrific. Could you please contact me at https://support.wp-slimstat.com so that we can coordinate better?

    Thanks,
    Jason

    Done 🙂

Any update? Pro user of WP Fastest Cache, seeing no data in Slimstat with WP FC caching enabled.

    Hi @nicecms

Yes, the most recent version of Slimstat has the issue fixed, because WPFC would appear as a “bot” so there were some hangsup. All sorted now. Update and you should be all good 🙂

Also working great with WP Rocket.
