• Hi,

I am using OceanWP with Buddypress, WP-job-manager and also Woocommerce/WC vendors for my current project.

OceanWP is recommended by WC vendors as well as also working well with the other major plugins like BuddyPress and WP job manager.

But the issue I am having is with compatibility with the BP-job-manager plugin. I am using the plugin BP-job-manager to display the users resumes and job dashboard, as well as the “post a job” page, from the WP-job-manager plugin on the users BuddyPress profile but the pages are not being displayed properly with the OceanWP theme.

The pages from the WP-job-manager plugin appear fine on the standard pages but when displayed on under the BuddyPress profile the layout is different even though the width of the page is the same. I contacted the BP-job-manager support and they advised it is working fine with other themes after testing it.

…for example on the job alerts page, there there is a drop-down menu where the user can select categories, please see this screenshot of the default :
    https://prnt.sc/rg8vu0

The category field is multiple select and lists each category side-by-side with each selected category having an “x” next to it so it can be removed.

but when on the BP profile page you can only select one item and you cannot start typing in a category and have results filtered as with the direct page, this is how it looks on the BP job manager page:
    https://prnt.sc/rg8vht

Also on the job dashboard page, underneath each job listing, if a user is viewing their own profile there are some options listed for editing, mark filled, duplicate or deleting the job listing which appears when you hover over the job listing and the options are displayed side-by-side, please see here:
    https://prnt.sc/rg93z2

but on the BP-job-manager page the options are permanently listed underneath the listing downwards instead of side-by-side, please see here:
    https://prnt.sc/rg931t

I was just wondering whether this was a compatibility problem with the OceanWP theme and whether there was a way to fix this?

    Many thanks,

    Jas
