# Compatibility between extensions

 * I have a certain experience on static sites but never used WP, I’m a perfect 
   newbie.
 * I want to create a site with the following features:
    -  Corporate presentation
       Members area File download Catalog and shopping cart
 * I’ve seen many plugins for each of these functionalities but I don’t know until
   which extent those plugins are compatible to work together.
 * I also wonder about the compatibility between plugins and themes, can they work
   together even if they come from different sources? What are the limitations?
 * Finally any suggestion about extensions useful for my project will be welcomed.
