Hi @harryshawk,
I’m going to list your points:
Schema plugin
It’s compatible. Discussed here.
AMP
It’s compatible. But, some SEO data might require injection.
I still need to do full research on this, but an AMP connection is planned with the utmost priority; in fact, it’s currently being worked on for The SEO Framework – Extension Manager.
Facebook Instant Articles
I still need to do my research on this. It seems to be in the very state of development, when looking at the reviews. It shouldn’t be too hard to add compatibility, but when implemented, it will most likely be combined into the AMP compatibility extension.
Using Tumbler, distributing content on other sites
Be warned that if you distribute your content on multiple sites, one is getting prioritized over the other by Google.
This is something you need to manage and decide on your own.
Podcasts and audio
Audio is very difficult to discover through Google Search.
What I see many people do, is that they write out (transcript) the podcast or vodcast aside from just outputting the audio/video file.
What I recommend to do is at least write about the podcast: give an introduction to what it’s about, what topics it covers, etc.
Take a look at http://rainmaker.fm/ for a good example on how they handle this: Introduction -> audio -> transcript.
What I also recommend on doing is to build up a subscription list. Through which interested users are pinged when a new podcast/vodcast is published.
Concerns for compatibility
If there are any issues found, you should rectify this or notify me.
I advice against mixing SEO plugins. I also do not recommend installing a dedicated Open Graph, Pinterest or Twitter plugin next to The SEO Framework.
For now, the Schema plugin can run perfectly alongside The SEO Framework. Many sitemap plugins also work fine next to The SEO Framework.
PowerPress
I’m unsure of any SEO output compatibility issues. If you could give me a live example I can check it out! 🙂
I hope this all helps. Best of luck with your website!
P.S. your signature pinged another user 🙁
