Compatability with latest version of WP? Error message “no valid header”

    Hello guys,

    I’ve used this plugin on many of my websites, but when I tried to install it on the latest one, I get this error message upon activating the plugin: “The plugin does not have a valid header”.

    I also see it’s not tested with the latest version of the WordPress, so wondering if you will still maintain and provide support for this plugin.

    Hi Vibeke,

    Thank you for your patience! We did locate a bug and are working on an update but do not have an eta for a release date at this time.

    After you install the plugin you can just go to the main plugin page and activate the plugin there instead and you should not see that error. This will not cause any issues with using the plugin and does not affect the plugin functionality, it is just an issue with activating it.

    I am getting the same error. It has been over a month since you identified the error, is there an eta on the update?

    Hi there,

    There will be an update but we do not have a timeline to share, I am very sorry.

    As a workaround you can go to the plugin page directly to activate the plugin which should resolve the issue for the time being.
