Compare Revisions = Self Destruct?

  • This is bizzarre. I was editing an existing post on my blog, and at the top, the message appeared (paraphrase) “There is an autosave version of this post available” so I clicked the link to see the autosave version. I couldn’t really see what was different about it, so I clicked the compare versions radio button at the bottom.

What then appeared on the page, in Courier font, was the message, “Preparing to auto-destruct”!!! Then it started showing a countdown, 3…2…1…

I immediately closed the window before it reached 1, but when I went to re-edit the post in a new window, it brought me to my webhost’s “page not found” page! What’s more, when I click to edit OTHER posts, I get the same “page not found” message!!!

What the hell is going on?? Tell me this is some kind of sick joke.
