Thank you for the additional details! I replicated the steps you’ve taken, used the checkout block and company field as required, and used the option to Use the same address for billing:
Some quick questions before proceeding, what are your WooCommerce, WordPress, theme and PHP versions? Which payment gateway plugin are you using and which version is it as well? Is everything up to date? Have you tried testing this with one of the WooCommerce core payment options by any chance?
The more info we have, the closer we’ll be to figuring this one out!
Thank you for all the effort you have put into trying to figure out the problem. But alas, I give up.
I have now tried everything, from changing themes, with and without disabling all plugins, reinstalling WooCommerce, Change PHP version, and again doing the tests above, but nothing helps.
I hope at some point there will be an update that will fix this problem, but for now it has cost me too much time with no resolution in sight.
I may have to choose a different platform, but without someone really looking under the hood, it probably won’t work.
(Disappointed, I’ve been working with WooCommerce for ten years, but I’ve never seen this before.)
I understand your frustration and how your time is spent on resolving this issue. Before we call quits, I encourage you to share your site’s System Status Report.
You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.
Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.
This might provide better insights into the issue. Looking forward to your response. 🙂
